Fortnite developer Epic has just released its latest game, and it’s a cross-platform gacha RPG called Battle Breakers.
Inspired by 90s cartoons, Battle Breakers challenges you to collect a bunch of different heroes and head out into a world full of battles.
Battle Breakers is a Pretty Standard Example of the Genre
The battling system is quite unique. You’ll smash gems to collect resources, occasionally uncovering a monster or two.
Each monster has its own elemental affinity, and you can use a hero of yours that has an elemental strength over it to defeat it easily.
There’s a bunch of buildings you’ll unlock as you progress, which provide you with a variety of helpful effects, from raising your level cap to providing regular rewards.
