A Game of Thrones: The Board Game is available right now on the App Store. Based on the super popular physical board game, it sees you picking a house and fighting it out with other players to take control of Westeros.
If you’ve read the books or watched the TV series then you know what to expect here. There’s intrigue, there’s back-stabbing, there’s secret deals, there’s no small amount of murdering. You’ll have to muster your forces, make alliances and gain influence if you want to succeed.
Oh, and you’ll have to watch out for the Wildlings as well. Basically there’s loads going on and it all takes place as a turn-based, deep strategy game. You can play with other real humans online, and there’s a solid single player campaign to work your way through as well.
As well as the base game, Asmodee has also revealed that you can add the A Dance With Dragons DLC. This adds new ways to play the game, new characters and a whole load more. It’ll set you back $3.99 as an IAP.
