When I noticed a bunch of high-profile game studios stealthily slashing the prices of some of their very best iOS offerings during the week, I had an inkling it could be in preparation for an upcoming Apple feature. Turns out I was right. A new section devoted entirely to hardcore games was launched on the App Store this weekend, and — for a limited time only — each amazing title listed therein can be downloaded for a fraction of its usual price!
Discounted games include Frogmind’s multi-award winning side-scroller BADLAND, Dead Mage and Crescent Moon’s universally praised platformer Shadow Blade, ChAIR’s graphically stunning action RPG Infinity Blade III, and many, many more. The ‘Amazing Hardcore Games’ sale is underway right now and will run until March 6.
