Apex Legends Mobile Could Soft Launch in the Next Couple of Months

According to an EA earning’s call, reported by Daniel Ahmad on Twitter, a soft launch version of Apex Legends Mobile could be on the way this Spring. That’s amazing news if you’ve been waiting to play the FPS battle royale on your phone or tablet.

The report goes on to say that the game will likely launch in China first, before coming out worldwide after that initial period. The game had been slated for a launch at the end of 2020, but as with everything in 2020, that launch got postponed.

What is Apex Legends? It’s a class-based battle royale that sees you teaming up with two other players and fighting to the death on a map that’s scattered with weapons, power-ups and much more. It’s done really well since it launched on PC and console, so it’s no surprise to see it making the move to mobile.

Different characters have different skills they can use in the battlefield. Some can swing around on wires, others can create portals. Everything that Apex Legends does is a bit different from the standard battle royale game. And the shooting is second to none. Mmmmmm, shooting.

As of right now we don’t have any more information about Apex Legends Mobile, but we’ll let you know as and when we find out more. We can tell you one thing though – we’re super excited to get our hands on the game.
