Apex Legends is Coming to Mobile, EA Confirms

In a recent quarterly earnings report, EA has confirmed that the smash hit battle royale shooter Apex Legends is coming to mobile. That’s awesome news for fans of Respawn’s hit.

We’re not entirely sure when it will launch though. Right now, we only know that EA is at work on it. If we had to guess, we’d say it will launch during this year though.

Apex Legends Will Hopefully Launch on iOS Later This Year

If you haven’t heard of this yet, it’s a battle royale shooter by the Titanfall developers Respawn Entertainment. It plays very similarly to Fortnite and PUBG, though with a greater focus on team play.

You’ll still drop into a massive open map and scour for weapons and equipment before striving to be the last man standing. It’s all very battle royale.

But where it differs is in its teamplay. You’ll battle alongside two others (there are no four, two, or solo options here) and help each other out via a handy tagging system.

You can tag powerful equipment, nearby enemies, or locations you want to visit. It’s very intuitive and means you don’t have to rely on a microphone to communicate if you’re shy.

It’s also a bit of a hero shooter, with each character taking on the role of a different hero with different abilities. These might be designed around support, healing, damage, or more.

We’ll let you know as soon as we learn when Apex Legends is set to hit the App Store. You can learn more about it on the official site in the meantime.
