It’s been a while coming, but the wonderful exploration-focused adventure game Night in the Woods has finally landed on the App Store. If you like strange goings on, then you’re in for an absolute treat.
The game sees you playing as college-dropout Mae Borowski. She returns home to Possum Springs to reconnect with her friends only to find that things have changed and people have moved on. Oh, and there’s also something weird living in the woods.
As you explore your hometown you’ll meet a vibrant cast of strange and intriguing characters and start to figure out just what’s going on. You’ll also play the bass, which, as everyone knows, is the coolest instrument.
You’re going to need an iOS device that’s running iOS 14 to play this one, and you’re going to need at least 2.1GB of free space on that device to install the game. But that’s a small price to pay for one of the best adventures of recent years.
