The biggest update yet to Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is on its way, and it’s going to fill the game with some of the most fearsome foes that the Wizarding World has to offer. It’s called the Adversaries update, and we’ve got all the details right here.
Adversaries are new types of encounters that will pop up on the map. They involve taking on a series of monsters, before facing off against a super powerful foe. The Slytherin Basilisk, Bellatrix LeStrange, Fenrir Greyback and Draco Malfoy are all going to be waiting to try and take you down.
If you lose or quit before you’ve won all the battles in an Adversaries encounter, you’re not going to get any of the amazing rewards on offer. Those include Challenge XP, Wizarding XP and a chance to win Defense Against The Dark Arts books.

There are going to be two levels of Adversaries – Feared and Lethal. Feared Adversaries are tough enough, but Lethal Adversaries, which will only be available during special Adversaries events, are really going to test your mettle.
You’re going to need to be pretty damn tough if you want to take down and Adversary. That means reaching level 15, and investing heavily in your Combat Profession. You’ll want to have some strong potions at your disposal as well.
