In my review of Doros Games’ Two Numbers Puzzle (out now, free) from a few weeks ago, I praised the game overall but pointed out that it might be a little “too bare bones” for some players’ tastes. Now, I’m pleased to say, that’s no longer the case, thanks to a massive update that recently hit the App Store.

The biggest new feature it adds to Two Numbers Puzzle is a Challenge Mode. This comes packing 47 increasingly tricky challenge levels at present, and Doros Games say they’ll be creating and updating the game with more on a frequent basis. Also new in the 2.0 version of Two Numbers Puzzle is the ability to unlock 4 additional gameboard styles: Scribble, Retro, Geometric Triangle and Hanko Japan. These stunningly pretty themes can be earned through gameplay, or bought via in-app purchases.

All in all, this update is a welcome surprise that makes an already good game even better. So if you haven’t checked it out yet, there’s never been a better time. You’ll find a link below.
