If ever there was a game that captured the magnificence of the indie spirit, it's "Fall of Angels." It's not flawless, but JRPG fans will be surprised at how much they end up loving this one.
Once playable only on the iPad, "Pod Odyssey" now makes a darn tootin' good addition to your Action/Adventure library if you're an iPhone or iPod Touch owner with some "Lunar Lander" skills.
Finally: a game with Doodads! "Mystery Ball" could still benefit from a little more polishing, but it already offers some great logistical challenge and its environment altering concept never gets old.

The appeal of "Another World" has definitely survived the decades - and the porting process - but a steep interface learning curve and low content-to-price ratio will still turn some players off. If you're a big fan of action games or logic puzzles and missed it the first time(s) around, however, you owe it to yourself to experience "Another World" at least once.
Start with an Agatha Christie novel, stir in some delicious anime art, sprinkle in tons of clever brain-stumping puzzles, and you get Four Thirty Three's "The Secret of Chateau de Moreau." While not without some translation flaws, it's a truly gripping marriage of videogame and narrative. Here's to hoping there's more where this came from!
