Putting an end to months of rumors and speculation, Nintendo has today finally confirmed a release date and price for Super Mario Run. The eagerly anticipated game will hit the App Store on December 15th and be free to download. The full experience can then be unlocked from within the app with a once-off IAP of $9.99. To me, that seems pretty reasonable and more or less in line with what I was expecting.
Apart from that, Nintendo has also released a new trailer, which gives us our best look yet at Super Mario Run’s various different gameplay modes in action. As Mario himself might say, it’s-a fantastic! Check it out:
