‘Shattered Memories: Dream’ Re-Named ‘The Apeiron Project’; New Screenies & Trailer Unveiled!

To head off a possible trademark conflict with Konami Entertainment, indie studio Footprint Games have changed the name of their upcoming psychological horror game from Shattered Memories: Dream to The Apeiron Project. Which sounds a lot less generic and creepier and more intriguing, if you ask me.

Footprint have also unveiled another peek at The Apeiron Project‘s primary antagonist(?), “The Rabbit” – who looks like a crazy cross between Donnie Darko’s Frank the Bunny and Hannibal Lecter in the latest piece of hand-drawn promotional artwork – as well as a trio of atmospheric in-game screenshots and a brand spanking new teaser trailer.

Still no word on a release date or pricing for The Apeiron Project, but you can keep abreast of the latest happenings by checking out Footprint Games’ Twitter feed and blog. Oh, and there’s a couple of promotional videos and then a full animated trailer to look forward to soon too, according to Footprint Games’ Andrea Marsili.
