Wow. Just…wow. “Epic” is most definitely the first word that springs to mind when watching adventurers on horseback, hulking ogres and great big bloody dinosaurs all dash around a breathtakingly lush fantasy-scape in this new teaser trailer for Ravensword: Shadowlands.
Shadowlands is, of course, Crescent Moon Games’ keenly anticipated follow-up to 2009’s (now classic) Ravensword: The Fallen King. Chatting with Pocket Gamer UK yesterday, Josh Presseisen, the indie studio’s creative director, promised this upcoming open-world RPG will be absolutely massive: “(the) game’s size will probably be the biggest world to date of any 3D game on the iOS…most players will squeeze more than 40 hours worth of gameplay out of the title.”
Ravensword: Shadowlands is reportedly in the final stages of development and will hit the App Store before the year’s out. In the meantime, keep half an eye on Crescent Moon’s Twitter feed, where Josh is fond of drip-feeding tantalizing details of upcoming games to fans.
