As 2012 draws to a close, 148Apps and the Steel Media Network have kicked off the fifth annual edition of the ‘Best App Ever Awards.’ The nomination phase of this year’s event has officially gotten underway, and you can now vote for your favorite Phone, iPod Touch and iPad apps and games in a whole bunch of different categories (over a hundred!) by visiting the official website.
The Best App Ever Awards are definitely a big deal, and we heartily encourage as many of our readers as possible to get involved. Here’s a little background information, for those of you who perhaps haven’t taken part in previous year’s BAEs:
The Best App Ever Awards is now in it’s fifth year – and is a celebration of the greatest apps in the universe. Its goal is to honour the best apps, and not just the best selling – you could almost think of the awards as the Oscars of the app world. Last year saw a record 1.5 million votes for thousands of apps, and crowned Jetpack Joyride the 2011 Best App Ever.
Nominations are open until December 31, 2012, and the lucky winners will be announced at next year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain on February 26th, 2013. So what are you waiting for, folks? Head on over to Best App Ever and cast your votes now!
