Apple Wants Its Own ‘Breaking Bad’ or ‘Game of Thrones’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles-based Apple execs are currently shopping around for “big, smart, splashy dramas” in the vein of Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones. So far, they’ve placed a bid on a reboot of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories and taken meetings with an array of TV talent, including Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad), Ron Moore (Outlander) and Mike Schur (The Good Place).

Indie Classic ‘Flower’ Surprise Launches on iOS

Thatgamecompany’s multi-award winning indie charmer Flower unexpectedly landed on the App Store this week, courtesy of Annapurna Interactive. The game — which until now has been exclusive to the PlayStation platform — costs $4.99 on iOS, and is a must-buy for anyone who appreciates lush, beautifully crafted visuals and zen-like gameplay. Fingers crossed Flower’s release paves the way for Journey to also come to iOS at some point.
