Rebellion Games just dropped us a line to let us know that the excellent Joust Legend (our review) is available as a free download for a very limited time only! (December 6th-13th.) The free promotion is Rebellion’s way of showing their appreciation for all the critical acclaim and various awards nods Joust Legend has garnered the indie studio throughout the year — such as two nominations at the 2013 TIGA awards and an Appster Awards nomination for “Best Indie Developer.”
Joust Legend’s temporary price drop also coincides with the game getting a sizable update that includes loads of new customization options for players’ characters and horses. So if you haven’t tried Joust Legend yet, now really is the perfect time to do so.
Rebellion CEO Jason Kinglsey OBE hints there’s much more to come for the game in the near future too:
We’ve just started out with Joust Legend — it was a fun and challenging project for our team, and the positive reaction to the game was even greater than we hoped for.
