Dina-dina-dina-dina dina-dina-dina-dina …Giveaway time! And, oh man, it’s another absolute doozy this week. The Dark Knight Rises (Out Now, $6.99): The third and final installment of Christopher Nolan’s epic Dark Knight trilogy gets given the movie tie-in game treatment courtesy of Gameloft. Rises is set in an impressive (Arkham City-esque) open world and sees players pitting Batman’s wits, combat skills and wonderful toys like the Bat-pod and ‘The Bat’ against the nefarious Bane and an army of thugs! Essential for any bat-fan.
Fieldrunners 2 (Out Now, $2.99): The sequel to Subatomic Studios’ award winning “Strategic-Action-Puzzle-Defense” game is bigger and better than its predecessor in pretty much every way possible. Boasting 20 all-new levels, a plethora of gameplay modes, revolutionary AI, gorgeous retina display-ready graphics, and much more besides, Fieldrunners 2 is the very definition of a must-have game!
Hanger (Half Price Launch Sale, $0.99): Having racked up over 60 million plays in Flash game form, Hanger finally swings onto iOS. This new version comes packing the same simple but utterly mesmerizing gameplay, a bonus ‘endless mode’, and Game center leaderboards/achievements. I’ve playing this pretty much non-stop lately, and reckon it’s one of the most addictive iOS games ever — stay tuned for a full iFanzine review very soon.
Follow The Rabbit (Out Now, $0.99): Armor Games are best known for bringing their fun Flash games — such as Kingdom Rush — over to iOS, but their latest is an all-new mobile IP! Follow The Rabbit is a delightful casual puzzle game that should appeal to anyone who enjoyed the likes of Cut the Rope.
