Gigantic Giveaway: Win Horn™, Mikey Shorts, Café International & Dash Race!

Contests don’t come much bigger than this, folks! Burnin’ a hole in the iFanzine digital prize-bag this week are an eclectic array of über-hot new releases, including iOS game of the year contender, Horn™, madcap 2D platformer Mikey Shorts, award-winning board game adaptation Café International, and the insanely addictive Dash Race!

Read on for a little more info on each and every game we’ve got up for grabs this time around, or simply skip to the end of the post for full entry details.

Horn (Out Now, $6.99): Zynga and Phosphor Games’ visually sumptuous adventure is being hailed by critics and gamers alike as an iOS masterpiece and one of the best games of the year so far. Given the immense buzz around Horn, you just knew iFanzine would be giving away a copy to a lucky reader sooner or later, didn’t you?

Café International (Out Now, $4.99): In its original incarnation as a board game, Café International sold over a million copies and even scooped a prestigious award. And it’s not hard to see why — this game is really easy to get into, yet it’s also satisfyingly challenging and will definitely appeal to fans of strategic card games. Thanks to our buddies at Application Systems, we’ve got three copies to give away.

Dash Race (Out Now, $1.99): “A very simple videogame that retains the fundamental strengths of the classic pencil-and-paper game on which it’s based…definitely a quality app for the kids,” is how we summed up Hans-Juergen Richstein’s Dash Race when we reviewed it back in ’11. Thanks to the man himself, we’ve got three promo codes for this family-friendly classic up for grabs.

Mikey Shorts (Out Soon, $0.99): BeaverTap Games’ Mikey Shorts is an exciting 2D platformer with an emphasis on speedrunning. If the awesome old school aesthetic hasn’t already piqued your interest, then the staggering amount of content on offer will — Mikey Shorts comes packing 2 game modes, 72 levels, 6 unique environments and, perhaps best of all, over 100 disguises to unlock and wear!
