Gigantic Giveaway: Win Anomaly Korea, Karateka, Rōnin, and Ravensword: Shadowlands!
It’s our first giveaway of the New Year, so we figured we had best make it one to remember! This time around, we’re giving away a free copy of pretty much every major new iOS game release of the past couple of weeks, including: Anomaly Korea, Karateka, Rōnin, and Ravensword: Shadowlands! Read on for a little more info on those incredible prizes, or simply skip to the end of the article for full entry details.
Anomaly Korea (out now, $2.99): Chillingo and 11bit Studios’ sequel to the critically acclaimed Anomaly: Warzone Earth (read our review) exploded onto the App Store shortly before Christmas and has already racked up a slew of rave reviews. The general consensus is that Anomaly Korea blows its predecessor right out of the water thanks to deeper and more refined gameplay and much-improved graphics. One copy must be won!
Karateka (out now, $2.99): Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner remakes his own work for this nifty modern redo of 8-bit karate classic Kareteka. Boasting innovative, action-packed gameplay, art by Jeff Matsuda (The Batman, Escape from the Age of Monsters) and music by Grammy-winning composer Christopher Tin (Civilization IV), Karateka 2012 will no doubt impress nostalgic fans of the original and newbies alike. We’ve got one copy up for grabs!
Rōnin (out now, $0.99): Bulwark Studios’ App Store debut is a beautifully crafted ‘endless running’ game that puts players in control of a samurai as he traverses a fantasy Japanese land, doing battle with bandits, archers, samurais and other yōkai. Endless runners are ten-a-penny on iOS, but Rōnin‘s challenging and fast-paced gameplay, wonderfully fluid controls and absolutely gorgeous visuals mean it’s a cut above the rest. One lucky winner will nab a free copy!
Ravensword: Shadowlands (out now, $6.99): The long awaited follow-up to Crescent Moon Games’ open-world RPG Ravensword: The Fallen King is finally here — and by all accounts, it was well worth the wait! Shadowlands exceeds all expectations and is being hailed as “the best-looking mobile game ever made” (IGN) and “The Elder Scrolls of mobile RPGs” (Touch Arcade). We’re giving away one copy of this must-have game!
