Indie developer Yury Koshechkin just dropped us a quick note to let us know he’s currently running a 24-hour only free promotion for Amigo Pancho in association with the ‘App of the Day’ crew.
If you’re not familiar with the game, Amigo Pancho is a quirky physics-based puzzler that tasks you with guiding a high-flying adventurer — the eponymous Pancho — through a series of hazard-strewn aerial obstacle courses, making sure his balloons aren’t burst by the likes of prickly cacti or angry swarms of bees. It features smooth controls, 100+ increasingly tricky levels to work through, and charmingly cartoonish presentation.
In her glowing 4-star review iFanzine’s Gwen Phua had the following to say about Amigo Pancho, “Fans of physics puzzlers will probably feel right at home with Amigo Pancho. The game is pretty addictive, yet it shouldn’t sap too much time…there’s little reason not to get it.” High praise indeed!
