Florence, the upcoming romance-themed game from Monument Valley’s lead designer Ken Wong, has just been given a very appropriate release date. It’s set to hit the App Store on February the 14th (a.k.a St. Valentine’s Day) and can be pre-ordered now for $2.99.
Accrding to the blurb on its pre-order page, Florence is an “interactive storybook” about a young woman falling in love for the first time and the highs and lows that come with that. Told through a series of mini-game vignettes, the game’s narrative will follow her and her boyfriend’s adventures as they navigate a new life together.

I’ll be honest, Florence doesn’t sound like my usual cup of tea, but since it’s being made by one of the minds behind Monument Valley, I’ll most definitely be giving the game a try. If you’re intrigued and want to find out more about Florence ahead of release, you can visit Mountains’ official site or follow them on Twitter.
