Instant Games caught our attention with their entertainingly unconventional side-scroller Paleolithics (our review) last year, and now the up-and-coming indie studio are getting ready to release a brand new RPPG, Poker Knight. (And nope, that’s not a typo — Poker Knight is a mix of Poker/RPG genres, hence the unusual acronym).
Here’s the official synopsis courtesy of Instant Games’ Leonardo Kasperavičius: “Derek is about to face the biggest challenge of his life when he is transported to another dimension. There he receives his mission: to find the nine magic amulets who grant any wish when gathered together. To accomplish that, our hero will have to face dangerous enemies like goblins, mages, ogres and much more. The stakes are high, but Derek has an ace up his sleeve — the battlefield is the Poker table.”
Well, that sounds… unique.
