What do seemingly disparate things like Angry Birds and Michael Jackson’s 1982 album Thriller, or the Apple iPad and tasty beverage Coca-Cola, have in common? Well, obviously they’re all awesome in their own way, but also, according to the folks over at FinancesOnline, they all currently rank among the 10 best-selling products in the world ever.
The site recently put together a fun infographic that provides a visualization of the world’s top-10 favorite products, complete with crazy statistics about how many units of these items have been shifted to date. For example, did you know that the 211 million tablets Apple has sold since 2010 would be enough to circle the earth once, if each iPad is put end to end by its height? Or that a staggering 29% of the people on the planet have downloaded Angry Birds? Nope, me neither!
