It’s official, folks: the Angry Birds are set to follow in the footsteps skid-marks of video game icons like Mario, Sonic and Crash Bandicoot by starring in their very own kart racing game, Angry Birds Go!
Rovio made the announcement on their Facebook page yesterday, and soon followed it up with a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at them playing around with various different concepts for the game – such as it being an endless runner – before settling on the kart racing genre.
Apparently Rovio are almost ready to share a release date and gameplay trailer for Angry Birds Go!, so we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to find out more. Until then, check out the teaser trailer below and and let us know what you think in the comments section.
